East Palo Alto Police Arrest Shooting Suspect

The 17-year-old male victim was treated for multiple gunshot wounds. The suspect's name has been withheld.

Police arrested a suspect wanted in connection with the shooting of a 17-year-old boy on Saturday in East Palo Alto.

The shooting was reported at 2:10 p.m. in the 2500 block of Farrington Way, according to police.

The victim, a resident of East Palo Alto, was taken to a hospital for treatment of multiple gunshot wounds.

On Sunday detectives identified and arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting.

The suspect's name is not being released while the investigation is underway.

Police booked the suspect into the San Mateo County Jail in connection with the attempted homicide.
