EPA Man Suspected in Multiple Burglaries

The suspect allegedly burglarized two residences this year.

The Redwood City Police Detectives arrested an East Palo Alto man Tuesday for two residential burglaries over the past two and a half months.

Gerardo Aguilar, 28, allegedly burglarized a home on the 100 block of E Street on February 9 and another home on the 200 block of King Street on Monday.

He was arrested in his home at 2323 Clark Street in East Palo Alto at 8 p.m. after detectives located Aguilar’s parked vehicle near his residence after matching the description to witnesses’ details. During both burglaries, these witnesses also provided a description of the suspect.

Detectives conducted a parole search of the residence and arrested Aguilar.

Aguilar was booked into the San Mateo County Jail for two counts of residential burglary and for violating his parole.
