EPA Man Shot in Leg

Injuries not life-threatening.

A man was shot in the leg at an East Palo Alto apartment complex on Thursday evening, police said.

East Palo Alto Police responded to a report of a shooting victim at the Light Tree Apartments at 1805 E. Bayshore Road at 5:07 p.m.

The 55-year-old victim was found there suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.

The victim, an East Palo Alto resident, was transported to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police searched the area and found a handgun believed to be connected to the crime, police said.
