The left lanes of U.S. Highway 101 in San Jose are blocked by a fatal collision involving a motorcyclist tonight, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at about 8:15 p.m. on Highway 101 near state Highway 85, the CHP said.
A Sigalert was issued around 8:50 p.m. and the left lanes remain blocked as of 10:15 p.m., the CHP said.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation and the name of the deceased victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
