Hwy. 101 in Palo Alto Reopens Following Overnight Crash

The crash occurred just before 4:00 a.m. Sunday on northbound Hwy. 101 near Embarcadero Rd.

All lanes of traffic on northbound U.S. Highway 101 at Embarcadero Road in Palo Alto have reopened after a multi-vehicle crash involving a large bus shut down three lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Just before 4 a.m., a crash involving two cars and a bus was reported on northbound Highway 101 at the Embarcadero Road exit, according to the CHP. Witnesses at the scene reported one man involved in the crash who was bleeding from his hand and had blood on his clothing.

No further information about injuries was immediately available. The roadway was cleared and all lanes reopened around 5:45 a.m.
