11 a.m., 448 California Ave.: An unknown suspect lit a fire in a trashcan.

1:20 p.m., 1700 block of Embarcadero Road: An unknown suspect smashed a car window and stole two laptops that were in bags.

4:51 p.m., 100 El Camino Real: Kwame Fitts, 37, Steven Martin, 29, and Terrence Martin, 28, were arrested on suspicion of possessing illegal drugs.

8:08 p.m., El Centro Street: Someone was taken to a hospital for a 72-hour mental evaluation.

Saturday

12:01 a.m., Channing Avenue: Someone was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and battery.

5:41 a.m., 323 University Ave.: Redwood City resident Rafael Avala-Meija, 35, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and booked into county jail.

4:41 a.m., Tanland Drive: Police took a report on a case of possible domestic violence.

11:36 a.m., Lytton Avenue and Alma Street: Alexai Kincaid, 43, a San Jose resident, was arrested on suspicion of possessing illegal drugs.

11 p.m., Emerson Street: Akexander Semeno, 44, a San Jose resident, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.

Sunday

1:49 a.m., 2200 Alma St.: Alvin Hsu, 25, a Los Altos resident, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

1:55 a.m., California Avenue: Someone was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and battery. 

2:16 a.m., Emerson Street: Someone was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and battery. 

3:45 a.m., West Bayshore Road: Someone was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and battery. 

12:18 p.m., 207 High St.: A 2010 Honda Fit was reported stolen.

2 p.m., Lincoln Avenue: Police took a case for possible child abuse.

Monday

1:55 a.m., 180 El Camino Real, Stanford Shopping Center: Lopeti Taufoou, 21, a Redwood City resident, was arrested on an outside warrant and booked into county jail.

10:31 a.m., 235 University Ave.: Rodney Taylor, 41, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest.

2:20 p.m., 2280 Hanover St.: An unknown suspect used a Palo Alto resident's credit card to make fraudulent purchases in Southern California.

2:37 p.m., 180 El Camino Real, Stanford Shopping Center: Genevive Crivello, 19, a Redwood City resident, was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting and petty theft.

3 p.m., University Avenue: Police took a report on a case of possible domestic violence involving annoying phone calls.

7:08 p.m., 180 El Camino Real, Stanford Shopping Center: David Herb, 19, a Redwood City resident, was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting and petty theft.

7:57 a.m., 1060 McGregor Way: An unknown suspect spray-painted a car.

11:11 a.m., 2000 block of Yale Street: Police towed a car for unpaid parking citations.

8:08 p.m., 3915 South Ct.: Someone found a dog.

2:37 p.m., 1200 block of Alma Street: David Kao, 31, a Palo Alto resident, was arrested on an outside warrant.

Wednesday

10 a.m., 1183 Amarillo Ave.: Someone cloned another person's credit card and made fraudulent purchases.

10:38 a.m., 637 Los Robles Ave.: Police towed a car that was parked in "no parking" area.

12:10 p.m., Whitclem Drive: Someone was cited for prowling.

4:43 p.m., 140 Tennyson Ave.: Luis Gomez, 30, a Palo Alto resident, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of illegal drugs.

11:31 p.m., 195 University Ave.: Jeremy Osborne, 19, a Santa Clara resident, was arrested on suspicion of trespassing.

Thursday

12:30 p.m., 180 El Camino Real, Stanford Shopping Center: Someone broke into a car and stole a laptop.

12:35 p.m., 180 El Camino Real, Stanford Shopping Center: Someone broke into a car and stole a stereo.

1:42 p.m., 180 El Camino Real, Stanford Shopping Center: Someone broke into a car and stole a stereo and GPS system.

2:33 p.m., 3297 Alma St.: Someone received a counterfeit check.

3:03 p.m., 440 Portage Ave.: A non-injury hit-and-run accident was reported.

11 p.m., 275 Forest Ave.: An unknown suspect used someone else's identity to open a credit or bank account.

11:48 p.m., 200 block of Cambridge Avenue: Kristina Kahm, 27, a Redwood City resident, was cited and released on an outside warrant for driving with a suspended license.
