Man Arrested After East Palo Alto Stabbing

Police have arrested an East Palo Alto man suspected of stabbing another man on University Avenue

The man suspected in a stabbing Wednesday night in East Palo Alto that left another man seriously injured has been arrested, according to police.

At around 10 p.m., witnesses flagged down police on University Avenue in East Palo Alto and led them to a 20-year-old man who had been stabbed in the neck. The victim was taken to a hospital, and while information about his current condition is not immediately available, his injuries are being treated.

The witnesses directed the police to 30-year-old Roberto Romero of Redwood City. Romero was arrested last night, according to police.
