Palo Alto Fire Assists with 2-Alarm House Blaze in Mtn. View

No one was hurt, and cause and origin not yet determined.

The Palo Alto Fire Department assisted this morning with fighting a two-alarm fire at a home on the 1700 block of Fordham Way in Mountain View, according to the City of Mountain View Fire Department

No injuries were reported to firefighters or residents.

Firefighters responded to reports of smoke and flames at the one-story residence at about 2:30 a.m. The blaze did not spread to other homes, and the homeowners were not at home at the time of the blaze. the fire department  said. 

Investigators are currently on the scene working to determine the cause and origin. No other details are available.

Along with PA Fire, Santa Clara County Fire, the Fire Associates of Santa Clara Valley and the Mountain View Police Department assisted during the incident, authorities said.
