Palo Alto Fire Chief 'Behind Bars'

In a gesture to raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy Association Chief Eric Nickels joins other community leaders "in jail" at Old Pro on Ramona.

Stop by the Old Pro this Wednesday afternoon and make sure you bring money for bail, not just beer.

Palo Alto Fire Chief Eric Nickel hasn't commited a crime, but you'll be able to find him "behind bars" as a way to help raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy Association, a muscle disease.

Nickel needs to $2,400 for bail and has so far raised $730.
