A gardener working at a home in the 900 block of Channing Avenue was robbed at knifepoint Monday. Police report that he threatened the gardener with a knife, and then stole a leaf blower.
According to reports, the gardener was busy with her work when she noticed the man going through equipment in the back of her pickup truck. She told him to get out of the truck. That’s when he threatened her with a knife.
The man grabbed a leaf blower, and then fled in an older model Acura.
