Palo Alto House Fire Displaces Three
The two-alarm blaze burned a two-story home on the 900 block of Colonial Lane.
Three adults have been displaced by a two-alarm fire that burned at their Palo Alto home this morning, a Palo Alto deputy fire chief said.
The fire was reported at a two-story house in the 900 block of Colonial Lane around 9 a.m., Deputy Fire Chief Geo Blackshire said.
The three residents were able to get themselves out of the house safely, Blackshire said.

A neighbor said a couple in their 50s live at the home, along with the husband's mother. The fire appears to have started in the kitchen area, Blackshire said.
Crews put out the fire around 10 a.m., he said. The house was destroyed in the blaze, Blackshire said. The American Red Cross has been called in to assist the residents with temporary living arrangements.

No injuries were reported, he said.
Crews from Mountain View and Santa Clara County fire departments also responded to the blaze, he said.
