Palo Alto Liquor Store Robbed at Gunpoint
The suspects took about $230 worth of alcohol and an undisclosed amount of money.

Police in Palo Alto are searching for two men in black masks who robbed a liquor store at gunpoint on Saturday night.

Officers responded to reports of an armed robbery at Century Liquors at 3163 Middlefield Road at about 7:55 p.m., according to Palo Alto police.
Two suspects had entered the store and demanded alcohol and cash from a store clerk, police said.

Both men were armed with semi automatic handguns, police said.
The suspects took about $230 worth of alcohol and an undisclosed amount of money. The clerk was not injured, and he did not see the suspects get into a vehicle when they fled.
Police immediately responded and launched a search that included a K-9 unit from Mountain View police and a helicopter from the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office. The suspects were not found.
They were described as black men in their 20s. One suspect was about 6 feet tall with a thin build and the second suspect was about 5 feet 10 inches tall. Both were wearing black masks, black jackets and dark pants.
