The Palo Alto Police Department released a surveillance photo of two burglary suspects reportedly inside a home on the 800 block of Ames Avenue Monday night.
The March 24 evening incident was an hours-long ordeal as police locked down a block, surrounded a house on Ames and even called out the SWAT team as the officers were uncertain whether burglars were still on the premises after the homeowners interrupted the break-in. The stakeout ended with no suspects or arrests.
