Redwood City Man Suffers Serious Injuries in Motorcycle Crash in SSF

Unidentified man was thrown from his motorcycle Tuesday morning, police said.

A motorcyclist suffered major injuries in a collision in South San Francisco on Tuesday morning, police said.

At about 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, a 49-year-old Redwood City man suffered major but not life-threatening injuries after he was thrown off his motorcycle, according to police.

The motorcyclist was traveling in the 500 block of North Canal Street near Colma Creek when he lost control and crashed, police said.

He was transported to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment.

An update on his condition was not immediately available.
