Seven Vehicles Burglarized in Palo Alto Wednesday

The crimes took place at Stanford Shopping Center and downtown Palo Alto.

In less than four hours, seven vehicles had their windows smashed and items stolen from within on June 12, the Palo Alto Police log showed.

The majority of the cars—four—appeared to have been parked at Stanford Shopping Center located at 180 El Camino Real. Two others were parked at 445 Bryant St. and the last 528 High St. The burglaries occurred between 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.

According to the Palo Alto Police, drivers should never leave valuables in their car, even if it’s locked, unless they place them in the trunk so that they are “out of sight.”
