Palo Alto's brand new Mobile Emergency Operations Center joined PANDA, Red Cross, BPCs and others last weekend to stage an emergency campout at Juana Briones Park.

In the wake of the deadly gas line explosion in San Bruno, local disaster preparedness is fresh on the minds of Palo Alto residents and the officials tasked with their protection.
