6 a.m., 2139 Bellview Drive: Kenta Suzuki, 18, a Menlo Park resident, was arrested and booked on suspicion of possessing stolen property and residential burglary.

2:43 p.m., 340 Portage Avenue: Gilles Therry de Bordeaux, 65, a Belmont resident, was cited and released on suspicion of shoplifting.

7:14 p.m., Stanford Shopping Center, 180 El Camino Real: Brenda Mirella Landa-Gonzalez, 24, a Menlo Park resident, was cited and released on suspicion of identity theft.

10:41 p.m., 369 Lytton Avenue: Eric Grant Hoyt, unknown age, a Palo Alto resident, was arrested and booked into county jail on an outside warrant.

11:37 p.m., 1455 Edgewood Drive: An unknown suspect broke into a home, stole items, and then stole a silver 2004, BMW 545I, license plate 5GMU568.

2:09 a.m., 300 block of Emerson Street: Christian Antony Mercado Rodriguez, 28, a Stanford resident, was arrested and booked on suspicion of drunken driving.

2:30 p.m., 784 Gailen Avenue: Medics transported someone to Stanford Medical Center for a 72-hour mental evaluation.

3:42 p.m., 1600 block of El Camino Real: Police towed a car for parking in violation of a posted "no-parking" sign. 

7:57 p.m., 550 Stanford Avenue: May Santos Mallari, 27, a San Bruno resident, was cited and released on suspicion of shoplifting.

2:18 a.m., Ramona Street and University Avenue: Montez Joy Harrison, 24, an Oakland resident, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.

3:57 a.m., 1400 block of Middlefield Road: Alfredo Padilla, 52, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

3:03 p.m., San Antonio Road and East Charleston Road: Serfin Perez, 24, a San Jose resident, was cited and released on suspicion of driving with a suspended or revoked license.

12:45 p.m., 877 Northampton Drive: Someone reported getting annoying phone calls from an unknown suspect.

3:19 p.m., Palo Alto Police Station: An unknown suspect used someone's credit card to make fraudulent purchases, the victim reported.

4:33 p.m., 100 El Camino Real: Stanley Cortez, 38, a San Jose resident, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

11:45 p.m., 2150 Channing Avenue: An unknown suspect broke into a commercial building, did not steal anything, but vandalized the exterior.
