Both suspects were each booked into the San Jose Main Jail on two felony counts of possessing stolen property and possessing burglary tools. Groover, who is on active parole in Santa Clara County for burglary, was also booked on a felony parole violation, according to police.

Police could not be reached to discuss the amount of copper piping the suspects had, but thieves usually turn the material into recycling facilities for cash, police said.
