A vehicle crashing on the 780 Freeway in Vallejo Friday prompted the call of a blood technician to the hospital where the motorist was taken, the CHP reported.
The crash on the westbound Interstate 780, west of the Glen Cove Road exit ramp, was reported at 3:42 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol incident log.
A sedan ended up facing the wrong way on the freeway and a big rig driver stopped to ensure the car did not get hit again, the log read.
Traffic in the far left lane was affected.
The blood technician was sent to Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center, the CHP reported.
