Verbal Altercation Leads to Attack in Charleston Meadows
No serious injury or medical treatment after verbal dispute leads to stabbing.
A Palo Alto resident was attacked following a verbal altercation with a housemate last week on Monroe Drive, police said.
The incident, which was reported around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, occurred between Charleston Road and San Antonio Road, according to the Palo Alto Police Department.
One resident attacked the other with a small folding pocketknife, and there were no serious injuries caused by the incident, according to Lieutenant Zach Perron.

The incident occured the day prior to it being reported, said Perron. The incident was between two people who have known each other for years, he said, and doesn't represent a threat to public safety.
