Victim Expected to Survive EPA Shooting

The man was driven to the hospital in a private vehicle.

Police in East Palo Alto are investigating a shooting that happened Saturday night.

Officers responded to a shot-spotter activation in the area of Euclid Avenue and Bell Street at about 9:10 p.m., police said. Shortly after, officers received a report that a gunshot victim had arrived at a hospital, according to police.

The victim, a 23-year-old man, was driven to the hospital in a private car. He remains in stable condition and is expected to survive, police said.
