4:49 a.m., 4275 McKellar Lane: Police and medics transported a patient to Stanford Medical Center for a 72-hour mental evaluation. 

7:30 p.m., 500 block of Emerson Street: Police towed a car that was violating a parking ordinance.

8:14 p.m., Churchill Avenue and Alma Street: Police cited someone for driving without a license and also on an infraction.

11:09 p.m., 500 Emerson Street: Police towed a car that was parked in a taxi lane. 

Saturday

4:28 p.m., 139 Seale Avenue: Police arrested Oscar Javier Carmona, 26, a Palo Alto resident, on suspicion of felony identity theft and the theft of credit cards.

5:59 p.m., 1200 block of El Camino Real: Matthew Eric Bennett, 45, a Palo Alto resident, was arrested and booked on suspicion of being drunk in public.

9:06 p.m., Unknown Location, Ben Lomond Drive: Someone reported a possible case of physical child abuse.

11:51 p.m., San Antonio Road and California Street: Police arrested and booked Dustin Casterson, 28, a Castro Valley resident, on suspicion of possessing illegal narcotics.

Sunday

5:10 p.m., Urban Lane Encina Avenue: Rufus Aaron Payden, 27, a San Mateo resident, was arrested and booked on suspicion of being drunk in public.

7:09 p.m., 1100 block of Oregon Expressway: Police arrested and booked Juvenito Lopez Ortiz, 18, an Oakland resident, on suspicion of possessing illegal narcotics.

9:18 p.m., 500 Fulton Street: A grey 2010 Audi A3, license 6KGX308, was reported stolen.

9:51 p.m., El Camino Real and Quarry Road: Police and medics transported a patient to Stanford Medical Center for a 72-hour mental evaluation. 

10:54 p.m., 3300 Page Mill Road: An unknown driver hit another car and then fled the scene.

Monday

9 a.m., 300 Pasteur Drive: A woman found items missing from her purse.

10:30 a.m., 625 Hamilton Avenue: An unknown suspect, or suspects, entered a closed business, stole a credit card and then made several charges on it.

2:32 p.m., El Camino Real and Embarcadero Road: Police arrested and booked Kenneth Omen Grant, 48, a Sunnyvale resident, on suspicion of being drunk in public.

3:26 p.m., Stanford Shopping Center, 180 El Camino Real: Police cited Shabo Alex Atasuntsev, 24, a San Mateo resident, on suspicion of petty theft/ shoplifting.

4:49 p.m., 340 Portage Avenue: Police cited Konstantin Martynenko, 39, a Mountain View resident, on suspicion of petty theft / shoplifting.

Tuesday

2:02 p.m., 4277 Mackay Drive: Someone swallowed an unknown drug and had to be transported to Stanford Medical Center.

2:08 p.m., Ramona Street and Hamilton Avenue: George William Meier, 58, a Menlo Park resident, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

2:55 p.m., 330 Ventura Avenue: An unknown person slapped another person in the face.

9:13 p.m., 340 Portage Avenue: A minor-injury accident happened.

10:33 p.m., 2445 Faber Place: An unknown suspect, or suspects, broke into a commercial building and stole items.

Wednesday

9:30 a.m., 777 North California Avenue: Robert Thomas Alden, 50, a Palo Alto resident, was arrested and booked on an outside warrant.

11:24 a.m., 50 Embarcadero Road: An unknown suspect stole a bicycle.

3 p.m., Palo Alto Police Station, 275 Forest Avenue: Someone reported identity theft and fraud.

9:47 p.m., 200 block of San Antonio Road: John Caruso, 70, a Mountain View resident, was cited on suspicion of drunken driving.

Thursday

8:20 a.m., 855 El Camino Real: Stanley Scott Saso, 55, a Palo Alto resident, was arrested and booked on suspicion of being drunk in public.

5:17 p.m., 95 University Avenue: Maurice Gregory Wood, 55, a Santa Cruz resident, was cited on suspicion of stealing bicycle parts.

10:56 p.m., 400 block of Waverley Street: Jesse Livingston, 52, a Palo Alto resident, was arrested and booked on an outside warrant.

11:36 p.m., 1036 Colorado Avenue: Janalee Velasquez, 28, a Palo Alto resident, was arrested and booked on suspicion of possessing stolen property.
