11:50 a.m., 753 Alma Street: Medics took someone to Valley Medical Center for a 72-hour psychological evaluation.

2:43 p.m., 300 Pasteur Drive: An unknown suspect was sending harassing e-mails.

7:36 p.m., 340 Portage Avenue: Police cited Karin Marie Zalec, 59, a Redwood City resident, on suspicion of shoplifting.
