Friday

4:42 a.m., 95 University Avenue: Police arrested a 32-year-old San Jose man for being drunk in public.

9:18 a.m., Unknown Location, Clark Way: Police cited someone for simple battery against another person.

1:31 p.m., Unknown Location, Churchill Avenue: Someone reported a possible sex crime.

3:48 p.m., Stanford Shopping Center, 180 El Camino Real: Police cited a 27-year-old Modesto woman on charges of petty theft and shoplifting.

Saturday

12:35 a.m., 2775 Embarcadero Road: An unknown suspect smashed a car window and stole a purse. 

1:56 a.m., 200 University Avenue: Police arrested and booked two men, 22 and 23, both of Palo Alto, on charges of resisting arrest.

8:15 p.m., Middlefield Road and Montrose Avenue: Police cited a 42-year-old Palo Alto man on the charge of drunken driving.

10:37 p.m., Louis Road and Oregon Expressway: An unknown suspect stole a green 2000 Toyota Corolla, license 4PXN987.

Sunday

12:07 a.m., Alma Street and Lytton Avenue: A 49-year-old Menlo Park man was arrested on the charge of drunken driving.

1:45 a.m., 3941 El Camino Real: Police arrested a 26-year-old Palo Alto man and took him to a hospital for a 72-hour mental evaluation.

3:28 a.m., 2603 Ross Road: Police arrested a 23-year-old East Palo Alto man on the charge of being drunk in public.

5:40 p.m., 200 University Avenue: Police arrested a 57-year-old Palo Alto man on the charge of being drunk in public. 

Monday

3:08 a.m., 3255 El Camino Real: An injured person flagged down an officer to request and ambulance and was later taken to Stanford Medical Center.

8:52 a.m., Middlefield Road and Everett Avenue: A minor-injury car accident happened.

1:10 p.m., 200 block of Chestnut Avenue: Someone reported seeing a person inhaling a substance from a metal container and then passing out.

3:58 p.m., 200 University Avenue: Police cited a man for drinking alcohol in Lytton Plaza.

7:22 p.m., 500 block of Palo Alto Avenue: Police cited two 18-year-old woman, one a Boston resident, and the other from Los Angeles, on drug possession charges.

Tuesday

12:38 a.m., East Charleston Road Independence Drive: Police arrested a 28-year-old San Jose man on an outside warrant.

5:05 a.m., 3225 El Camino Real: An unknown suspect broke into a commercial building and stole several items.

5:17 p.m., 345 Sheridan Avenue: An unknown suspect stole a bicycle from a home.

7:40 p.m., 220 University Avenue: Police arrested a 54-year-old Palo Alto woman on the charge of being drunk in public.

Wednesday

12:15 a.m., University Avenue and Bryant Street: Someone reported losing a keychain necklace and a Starbucks gift card.

7:46 a.m., 565 Arastradero Road: An unknown suspect smashed a car window and stole an iPod.

2:20 p.m., 8 Philips Road: An unknown suspect stole paperwork from an unlocked car.

11:09 p.m., 367 University Avenue: An unknown suspect broke into a car and stole items.

Thursday

4:44 a.m., first block of Arastradero Road: Someone reported seeing suspicious person walking out of a construction site.

8:42 a.m., Byron Street and Everett Avenue: Police cited someone for driving without a license.

7 p.m., 560 West Crescent Drive: An unknown suspect threw a glass object and landed it on the driveway of a home.

9:45 p.m., 352 University Avenue: An unknown suspect smashed a car window and stole laptop.
