4:07 p.m., 250 Lytton Avenue: Police cited someone for drinking alcohol in public.

4:10 p.m., Alma Street and Everett Avenue: A woman reported losing her shawl.

5:58 p.m., 2460 West Bayshore Road: An unattended death occurred.

7:47 p.m., Stanford Shopping Center, 180 El Camino Real: Police arrested and booked Ashkan Ghafouri, 26, a San Mateo resident, on suspicion of embezzlement.

Saturday

9:14 a.m., Wells Avenue and Urban Lane: Police towed a car for having an expired registration.

5 p.m., 340 California Avenue: An unknown suspect broke into a commercial building and stole property.

6:15 p.m., Unknown Location, Addison Avenue: Police arrested someone on domestic violence charges.

7:41 p.m., 2701 Middlefield Road: An unknown suspect stole liquor and beer from a store.

 

Sunday

1:47 a.m., 460 Emerson Street: Police arrested Anna Tagi, 21, a Menlo Park resident, on suspicion of battering a police officer.

1:54 a.m., 50 Embarcadero Road: Police cited Shawn LaFrance, 24, a Santa Clara resident, on suspicion of possessing illegal narcotics.

2:33 a.m., 412 Emerson Street: Police arrested David Tupou, 24, a Menlo Park resident, on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

9:09 a.m., Unknown Location, Kenneth Drive: Police arrested someone on domestic violence charges.

9:25 p.m., 835 San Antonio Road: Police cited Orna Shulman, 52, a New York city resident, on suspicion of hit-and-run after she allegedly fled the scene of an accident.

 

Monday

7 a.m., Unknown Location, University Avenue: Someone reported a possible suicide.

12 p.m., 1168 College Avenue: Someone reported suspicious circumstances.

1:45 a.m., 538 Ramona Street: An unknown suspect stole an unattended tote bag.

2:22 p.m., 500 East Meadow Drive: An unknown suspect stole a bicycle.

 

Tuesday

12:58 a.m., 200 block of Lytton Avenue: Police arrested and booked William Benson, 34, on an outside warrant.

2:14 a.m., San Antonio Road and Dake Avenue: David Gearheart, 27, a Los Altos resident, was arrested on an outside warrant.

8:39 a.m., 360 Portage Avenue: Someone lost a passport

2:21 p.m., 3165 Loma Verde Place: Police and medics transported someone to Stanford Medical Center for a 72-hour mental evaluation.

 

Wednesday

4:30 p.m., 3660 Ramona Circle: Police arrested Timothy McMorrow, 40, a Palo Alto resident, on suspicion of possessing illegal narcotics.

5:14 p.m., La Para Avenue: Someone reported a case of possible elder abuse involving the theft of finances.

8:54 p.m., 500 block of Ramona Street: Police arrested George Meier, 58, a Menlo Park resident, on suspicion of being drunk in public.

11:29 a.m., 500 block of Middlefield Road: Police cited Mario Rodolfo Palacios, 37, a Fremont resident, on suspicion of drunken driving after being in a non-injury accident.

 

Thursday

6:18 a.m., 926 Emerson Street: An unknown smashed through the rear door of a business and stole money.

7:14 a.m., 585 Bryant Street: An unknown smashed through the rear door of a business and stole money.

9:37 p.m., University Avenue and Ramona Street: Police arrested Talbot Keefer, 37, a Palo Alto resident, on suspicion of possessing illegal narcotics with the intent to sell.

11:05 p.m. 4350 Miller Avenue: Police arrested Alfredo Contreras, 31, a Redwood City resident, on suspicion of prowling.
