Woman Shot in Hand in East Palo Alto This Morning

The shooting occurred around 10 a.m. this morning.

A woman was shot in the hand in East Palo Alto this morning, police said.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting victim at 1700 Bay Road at about 10:10 a.m., according to East Palo Alto police.

Arriving officers found a 48-year-old woman with a gunshot wound in her left hand. She said she had been shot in East Palo Alto, but was unable to provide further details, police said.

The victim was taken to a hospital and was reported to be in stable condition.
