Adobe Creek Undercrossing Closed for Winter
Wednesday's rains flooded the pathway.
For safety reasons, the City of Palo Alto has closed the Adobe Creek undercrossing until April 15.
The popular bike and walking path closes annually as it is subject to unexpected closures and debris from heavy rain and flooding, officials said.
Due to Wednesday's heavy rains, the Adobe Creek undercrossing flooded and the area is now off-limits to residents.
This year, the city was able to keep the path open a month longer than usual, which was much appreciated by the bicycling community, the city said.
