Expect Noise from Caltrain Maintenance Tonight

Routine track work could affect residents in Palo Alto.

If you live near the Caltrain tracks, you may want to keep earplugs handy tonight.

Caltrain will perform routine maintenance resurfacing work on the tracks between San Mateo and Mountain View from 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10 to 6 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11.

You should expect some construction noise, but Caltrain promises that crews will work as quietly as possible.
