Finance Committee to Weigh Golf Course Reconfiguration

City staff has whittled designs down to four options.

 

The Palo Alto Finance Committee will tonight look at four options for reconfiguration of the , which .

City staff have produced a report outlining the tradeoffs, costs and long-term financial viability of each option.

Forrest Richardson, who is designing the new course, will join representatives from the National Golf Foundation and city staff to provide the Finance Committee with the design choices and answer questions.

Forrest Richardson entered into a contract with the San Francisquito Creek Joint Powers Authority (SFCIPA) as part of the San Francisquito Creek Flood Protection and Ecosystem Restoration Capital Project, which will provide flood protection for homes businesses, and other facilities in Palo Alto and East Palo Alto.
