Legislators to Host Education Update
What does the passage of Prop. 30 mean for PAUSD funding? Assemblyman Rich Gordon and State Senator Joe Simitian will update residents at a meeting this week.
School funding, current K-12 legislation and the status of the California education system will all be tackled by Assemblyman Rich Gordon and State Senator Joe Simitian at an Education Update Meeting Saturday, November 17, in Palo Alto.
“The state of education is at a critical juncture,” said Assemblyman Gordon. He went on to emphasize the importance of “discussing policy matters in a constructive and honest manner” with community members.

The meeting will be held Saturday morning, Nov. 17, 10 am – noon at the Palo Alto Unified School District Board Room, 25 Churchill Avenue.
If you can’t make it to the meeting, it will be broadcast on Comcast Channel 28 and streamed online by the Community Media Center.
