President Obama Plans Another Trip to the Bay Area

In his third trip in three months, the president continues to court the fundraising dollars in Silicon Valley.

If you missed President Barack Obama's visit through , cross your fingers—he may land at the local airfield on his next visit.

KCBS reports that Obama might return to the Bay Area for another fundraising trip on July 23rd. An exact location of the visit is yet to be announced.

Because President Obama has a majority of the Bay Area's support, this visit will be more for fundraising than campaigning. During his last trip on June 6th—he arrived and departed from SFO—the president raised $2 million; later that week media outlets reported that Republican presidential candiate Mitt Romney out-fundraised Obama $76 million to $60 million in the month of May.
