Cooking Classes for Kids in Palo Alto

What they’ll learn: Got a fussy eater? Children who take part in the preparation of meals are usually more open to trying new foods. When kids learn to cook, they not only foster a love of food, but they'll also learn how to measure, count, and explore their own creativity.
Ages: 3+
Time Commitment: 1 hour per week
Cost: $20+ per class

Kids cooking classes and camps begin around age 3 with basic measuring, stirring and food preparation techniques, and get more specialized by age 5. Whether it’s an Italian cooking class or cake decorating, the benefits of cooking classes for kids will be apparent the first time your child says, “Dinner's on me, Mom!”
