Dramatic Win for Bay Area Team in Little League World Series

A walk-off homer--does it get any better than this for a kid?


Petaluma is celebrating an extra-innings victory Monday afternoon by its Little League team in the Little League World Series tournament.
  
First-baseman Danny Marzo hit a leadoff home run to right field in the bottom of the eighth inning to keep the Petaluma National Little League team alive in the tournament, which being held in South Williamsport, Pa.
  
The team beat the Mid-Atlantic Region team from Parsippany-Troy, N.J., 5-4 in an elimination game. Little League games are only six innings long, but this game stretched into extra innings after the score was tied 4-4.
