Community Forum: Technology and Community Libraries

The Library Advisory Commission and the Palo Alto City Library invites the public to a community forum to discuss technology and libraries.

Leaders from the technology and library worlds will provide perspectives on technology trends and what these mean for public libraries.  Join the discussion, ask questions and share your insights!

The discussion panel will feature: Sandra Hirsh, Director of the San Jose State School of Library and Information Science; Dan Clancy, Director of Google Books; and Cathy Sanford, Deputy County Librarian for Contra Costa County Library. 

Jay Thorwaldson, editor of the Palo Alto Weekly, will moderate the discussion.
