Conference: Exporting Clean Energy Technologies
Through interactive discussions with the panel presenters, cleantech startups will gain insight on San Jose's preeminence in international markets and the local programs that are spurring domestic and international adoption of U.S.-developed clean energy technologies. This session will provide insight on U.S. Commercial Service resources and programs that match U.S. clean tech firms with overseas buyers, through B2B matchmaking, international partner searches, vetting of potential overseas partners, and trade missions. The City of San Jose will highlight the San Jose Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) program which allows a business or individual to delay, reduce or eliminate duty payments on foreign merchandise that enters the Foreign Trade Zone. This session will also include an overview from a logistics/transportation service provider who will highlight the requirements needed to ship U.S. products to overseas market via freight forwarder and export forwarder.
RSVP by March 8.
