Dr. Jeffrey Sachs, Author of "The Price of Civilization: Reawakening American Virtue and Prosperity"

In wake of the worst recession in recent history, Dr. Sachs focuses on the United States and gives a startling account of the inadequacies of America-style capitalism. He asks the question “where do we go from here” and offers a bold plan of reforms relating to sustainable infrastructure, taxes, job training, etc.  that must be taken to avoid further damage.

One of the most influential international economic advisors, Dr. Sachs was the Director of the UN Millennium Project from 2002-2006 and is the President and Co Founder of Millennium Promise Alliance, an organization dedicated to end extreme global poverty.
