Palo Alto Political Forums Scheduled

The League of Women Voters has scheduled public meetings to give you an opportunity to evaluate candidates and issues.

The League of Women Voters of Palo Alto has scheduled a series of free public meetings between now and election day to give you the opportunity to meet candidates for city council, school board, and the state legislature.

In addition, informational meetings evaluating the pros and cons of propositions on the November 6 general election ballot will also be held.

Forums in September:

Palo Alto City Council candidates, Saturday, Sept. 15, 2-4 p.m., at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto, 505 E. Charleston Road

Senate and Assembly candidates, Thursday, Sept. 20, 7-9 p.m., Menlo Park City Council Chambers, 701 Laurel Street, Menlo Park

Forums in October:

Palo Alto Unified School District Board candidates, Wednesday, Oct. 3, 7-9 p.m., PAUSD Board Room, 25 Churchill Avenue, Palo Alto

Alto City Council candidates, Thursday, Oct. 11, 7-9 p.m., Palo Alto City Council Chambers, 250 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto

School Funding and Props 30 and 38, Pros and Cons, Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2 p.m., Avenidas, 450 Bryant Street, Palo Alto

All Propositions, Monday, Oct. 8, 2 p.m., Avenidas, 450 Bryant Street, Palo Alto
