Silicon Valley is known for featuring some of the most expensive homes in the United States.  Here are 10 of the most expensive currently available along with some descriptions that give an idea of why the asking prices are what they are. 

(Note: It’s common for owners of particularly high-end homes to list them privately.  The homes we have here were found through a Multiple Listing Service [public] search.)

One of the most expensive homes currently listed in Silicon Valley, this gorgeous showpiece features five bedrooms and six bathrooms within 10,230 square feet.  The home is 19 years old and includes an attached three-car garage, an au pair unit with kitchen, separate one-bedroom guest house, indoor half basketball court and beautiful landscaping throughout the property.

Of course, you don’t have to spend more than $10 million to live in Silicon Valley.  You can find many ideal “dream houses” that are great values for much less.  Just do a search through the Multiple Listing System or ask a local real estate agent for assistance.
