Palo Alto: Saturday is Now Dodgeball Day

World Dodgeball Society (WDS), the premier co-ed adult sports and social organization based on nostalgia and camp of the 80s, has kicked off its Bay Area Summer Season with the Palo Alto Saturday afternoon league.

The official league season has just started and lasts eight to nine weeks, with each team carrying a roster of 10-20 people (with a minimum amount of girls). Individuals can sign on at any time as a loner or with friends. The cost for the season is $50 per person, which includes weekly 50-minute games, a sweet league t-shirt and the chance to meet some awesome people. No experience necessary. If players need a little practice and aren't ready to commit to 9 weeks of dodging, they are welcome to show up and "drop in" for only $5. Every Saturday 1-3PM at the Cubberley Community Center - Gym A (4000 Middlefield Rd, Palo Alto).

The World Dodgeball Society was created out of a love of nostalgia, bringing folks together, helping and bettering the community, and of course to party. We are unifying the world of dodgeball one nut shot at a time.
