Basketball star and trailblazer Tamir Goodman, dubbed the “Jewish Jordan” by Sports Illustrated magazine, became the first observant Jew to reach the highest levels of his sport while adhering to his religious observances. Tamir was rated among the 25 top high school players in America and the winner of the MVP of the Capitol Classic. Tamir was recruited by the powerhouse Maccabi Tel Aviv and played six pro seasons for top teams in Israel.
