Redwood Exploration
Enjoy a fall hike through the forest viewing redwoods and Douglas fir trees and a majestic tafoni sandstone formation. Join docents Liz Farnsworth and Vern Selvy to explore the woodlands in this popular Preserve.
Please bring a lunch as this hike will cover 5 to 6 miles and up to 1,000 feet of elevation gain.

For this activity at El Corte de Madera Creek Preserve, meet at Skeggs Point, a Caltrans vista point on the east side of Skyline Boulevard, about 4 miles north of La Honda Road (Highway 84) and 1.5 miles south of Kings Mountain Road. Please note that Caltrans prohibits a left turn into the lot when approaching from the north along Skyline Blvd.
