"Running of the Bulls" Mother's Day Race

Mother's Day!

Now in its ninth year, The Running of the Bulls welcomes everyone to a morning of fun-filled athletics for the whole family. The Running of the Bulls 5k Run & Walk and the Running of the Calves Kids' Fun Run are humanely inspired by the annual bull-running in Pamplona, Spain. Here in Palo Alto, our Bulls and Cows are Local and Olympic Runners in costume! Our Bulls and Cows have a delayed start and run in timed intervals, so, whether you run or walk, you're bound to rub hooves with one along the way. The more you beat to the finish line the more chances you have to win one of many prizes donated by our sponsors! Mingle with them and graze on delicious treats from our sponsors after the race.

This year's Bulls 5k event is a fundraiser for A Foundation Building Strength (AFBS) and the Gunn High School Senior Class. $5 of every entry will be donated to the Gunn Class of 2011. Remaining proceeds will be given to AFBS

The regular 5K race starts at 9:00 a.m.

The "Running of the Calves race for kids 12 and under starts at 10:00 a.m.
