Spiders! Free Docent-Led Nature Walk

Spiders! with Jack Owicki and Debbi Brusco
Third Saturday Nature Walk at Edgewood Natural Preserve.

Just in time for Halloween, arachnid enthusiasts Debbi Brusco and Jack Owicki will focus on spiders on this 3 hour, three-mile hike. Explore the many ways spiders hunt and make homes at Edgewood Park. We'll discover funnels, turrets, orbs, bowl and doilies, and maybe even trash lines!

We welcome seniors and families.  We'll  teach children and adults to identify poison oak, common along the trails.

Visitors can complement their docent-led walk by visiting the new Education Center located near the main entrance.  Interactive exhibits explain Edgewood’s connection to the surrounding landscape and its history.
