Harbaugh’s Team Finishes Five Back at Pebble Beach
San Francisco 49ers Coach Jim Harbaugh made it to the final day of the tournament, but didn't top the leader board.
Exactly one week after the hearts of the 49er Faithful were broken with the Super Bowl loss to Baltimore, the pro-am team of Head Coach Jim Harbaugh and his pro partner Jason Day finished five shots off the lead, in a three-way tie for 13th place at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
The pair put up rounds of 61, 63, 69 and 67, for a four round total of 260, 26 under par. Two teams tied for the championship--Brandt Snedeker / Toby S. Wilt and Michael Letzig / John Erickson. Pro Snedeker also won the tournament, collecting a $1.17 million purse.
