LACROSSE: Palo Alto Tops Pioneer

Behind a balanced scoring effort, the Palo Alto High girls lacrosse team defeated Pioneer High 10-5 Tuesday afternoon at Palo Alto High.

Kimmie Flathers led the way with a hat trick, keeping Paly perfect in Santa Clara Valley Athletic League play.

Gracie Cain and Nina Kelty each added two goals in the win. Paly led 5-3 at the break and continued its consistent play into the second half. The Vikings scored five more times in the second session en route to the 10-5 triumph.

Paly is now 3-4 overall and 3-0 in league action.
