Yard sales can be viewed as recycling on steroids. Not only are you keeping your old things out of the landfill—you get some extra cash for them. What’s not to like?
The Palo Alto Citywide Yard Sale will be held this year on Saturday, June 8. But the registration deadline is coming much sooner—May 10. Your address and merchandise will be included in a full-page map listing all participating sales.

Register online or call (650) 496-5910. You will receive a fact sheet with tips for a successful sale and a list of reuse organizations if you would like to donate your unsold items after the sale.
