Max Loves his Triple El Neighborhood

Look what June photo contest winner, Max of Jordan Middle School, has to say about his Triple El Neighborhood.  “At the Memorial Day barbecue, we had many exciting events, where the kids got to have their faces painted, have a water balloon toss, and even see a magician! In addition, all the neighborhood families were able to get together to talk and chat among themselves. Lastly the barbecue was a blast, so many people brought many different types of food, and they were all delicious. In all, the barbecue was an extraordinary event that I think the whole neighborhood enjoyed.”  And then check out his awesome photos.

Max entered the Caring Neighborhood Challenge's photo contest http://www.devassetspaloalto.org/neighborhoods.html and got to brag on his wonderful neighborhood.

It's not too late to participate.  The photo contest is open to Palo Alto and Stanford youth.  See details here http://www.devassetspaloalto.org/photo-contest.html

And of course your neighborhood should have an event!  The City grants have all been spoken for but there is some funding available from the Developmental Assets Initiative.  http://www.devassetspaloalto.org/funding-request-for-challenge.html
