Are you retired from work but not from life? Bay Area Older Adults will hold a guided geology hike Wednesday morning at Sanborn County Park. The 3.2–mile walk to Indian Rock features a view of the local wineries and ocean below. The hike includes a group picnic.

Final Vision Plan Meetings, Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District 

Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District Board of Directors 
will meet on Jan 14 to discuss the district’s Vision Plan for the next 20-40 
years. Scientific resource studies, analysis of the public’s priorities, and 
public input that has been collected over the last 16 months will be presented.

The Legacy of Joseph Eichler- Eichler Homes, Then and Now

Local realtor Monique Lombardellis will present a visual 
tour of Eichler homes. The recent film, People in Glass Houses: The Legacy 
of Joseph Eichler, explores the unique architectural style of Eichler, 
whose homes are well known for their glass walls, open floor plans, and post and beam construction.

A Community Dialogue About Mental Health, Stigma, Suicide Prevention, and Advocacy

A distinguished panel will discuss mental health, stigma, suicide prevention, and advocacy led by Keynote Speaker Kevin Hines, author of Cracked, Not Broken: Surviving and Thriving After a Suicide Attempt.
