Holidays Are Underway, and the Beach Boardwalk Has It Goin' On

So, you were afraid the most fun place in Santa Cruz was closed?

New Year’s Eve’s Eve with the Joe Sharino Band, Dec. 30. It’s not a typo! Celebrate a night early with one of Monterey Bay’s favorite dance bands.  Includes everything you’d expect for New Year’s Eve including party favors, full bar, and a countdown clock at midnight in the classic CocoanGrove.  http://www.cocoanutgrovesantacruz.com/public-events/nye-eve/

 

New Year’s Eve with the Alison Sharino Band, Dec. 31. Enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne or sparkling cider and a fabulous evening in the historic Cocoanut Grove. Dinner buffet includes grilled New York steak, chicken cordon bleu, pasta primavera, salads, savory sides, and decadent desserts.  Then dance the night away with live music by the Alison Sharino Band and Innisfree. Boardwalk Rides Rides are open daily, Dec. 26- Jan. 5 for Limited Rides.  Rides scheduled to open include Giant Dipper, Carousel, Double Shot, Undertow, Bumper Cars. (On Limited Ride Days, some rides and areas of the park are closed. Visitors should expect 5 major rides and 1 “Kiddie” ride to be open, weather permitting. Parking is reduced ($6) and “All-Day Rides Wristbands” are discounted to $21.95 plus tax on Limited Ride Days. Please call (831) 423-5590 the day of your visit to confirm open rides.) 

And new 2014 Season Passes can also be used for the rest of 2013 when rides are open Dec. 26 – Jan. 5.
