The City of Palo Alto will consider adopting an ordinance that prohibits people from living in their cars within city borders at a special council session Monday. The City expects to get to the agenda item at 8:40 p.m. at City Hall, 250 Hamilton Ave.

Who said art lovers prefer wine? Not beer drinkiers! Stop by a fundraiser to support the Pacific Art League at Gordon Biersch at 6 p.m., at 640 Emerson, Palo Alto. There will be a food and beer pairing, brewery tour, art exhibit, iPad Art Demo and live music. Tickets cost $50. A portion of the sale each ticket will be donated to PAL and is tax deductible.
